It is a fact of computing life in 2003 that operating systems are upgraded on a regular basis with security patches. If you are running an old Win9x,ME or even 2000 operating system, you owe it to yourself to upgrade to XP. Your BankALARM CD-ROM requires Windows XP operating system...so if you are not using XP, providing you are serious about security, you need to upgrade to the latest operating system releases from Microsoft.(new PCs are very reasonable these days...and some come pre-installed with XP Home under $500.)
Q: do I need BankALARM CDROM every time I run my PC ?
No. Your CD-ROM is for your initial install and then is to be kept for backup or if you want to purchase additional BankALARM subscriptions for additional PCs.
Q: Does BankALARM collect and store my private informaton?
No. Beyond the 3 Point Registration, and our subscription registration key, we will never ask or collect any of your other private information or passwords.
